Facilitators

This is our amazing group of facilitators that work with our adult learners in various programs. Our facilitators are trained in Family Literacy and Foundational Learning. Each one has a unique background and set of skills that they bring to the table and all together they have the combined goal of helping our learners learn, achieve and succeed.

Christy Bear

Facilitator

After participating in CALC several years ago, Christy was invited to become an apprentice Facilitator by our previous Lead Facilitator. With training and experience, Christy is now our Lead Facilitator and is determined in helping others along their own unique journey of learning. Christy brings a unique mix of energy, acceptance, and enjoyment to all the programs she facilitates especially the My Journey "Who am I?" program. With Christy's honesty and openness, participants can explore their own abilities and become more confident as they embrace change with a growth mindset.

Cheryl Best

Facilitator

Cheryl has been a facilitator since 2018. Her kind disposition and warm smile contributes to her ability to build trust with our program participants. She is intuitive which contributes to her developing relationships and engaging with seniors and adult learners alike. Cheryl is an amazing part of the CALC team of facilitators. Cheryl enjoys the My Journey ... Workplace and being a part of the progression of a learner from self discovery and then assisting a learner join the workplace.

Darlene Onushko

Facilitator

Darlene has been a facilitator with CALC for two years. She loves the great people she gets to meet within the communities. Darlene's favorite program is digital skills as she loves technology and finds it rewarding to be able to assist those who are struggling.

Cody Onushko

Administrative Assistant/Facilitator

Cody is very new to the world of CALC. He was born and raised in Lamont, He played hockey when he was younger and lives out on an acreage just outside of Lamont.
